I realised back when I was working on yachts that my values were changing and there were a few new things I valued most that weren’t getting met where I was. Having my own space to create and heal (and walk around naked), living more connected to the land and the seasons and having all the right material things I needed to support the lifestyle I wanted to cultivate were becoming more important than travel. I moved to Queenstown in 2020 and my healing journey began, letting go of this huge chapter of being on the move to grounding myself and immersing in my passions.

After a year of Queenstown living I was lead to Aaron who put so much love into building my home with Maria which took about 5 months. Now my home is parked up 45 minutes into the mountains from Queenstown. She’s on wheels so I can take her anywhere. All of her systems are simple for easy connection wherever she goes. I wanted her adaptable inside incase I wanted to use the space for something else down the track so everything in the bed half of the home can be taken out. It’s been a lot of fun slowly understanding how I want the space to flow and then creating. In her first year she has already been moved twice, had bed bugs, held 2 Covid patients, held a lot of healing conversations and taken the extremes of snow to scorching hot sun. Loving living in her.
